1) – How started your passion by racing cars?
I decided when I was 5 I would be racing cars and I never ever considered doing anything else. I am sure that part of it was being proud of my dad and it seemed like a normal life and thing to do.
2) – In your opinion, what was the best moment in your career until now? Why?
I would say the whole 1997 season and winning the F1 championship, closely followed by winning the Indy 500.
3) – In your opinion, what was the worst moment in your career until now? Why?
When it all went wrong with BAR/Honda after having put all the energy I had into the team and to not be there when all the hard work in developing the car finally paid off.
4) – What was the driver (or drivers) that you like most to face in the tracks?

The biggest challenge was always Michael

5) – This question may be difficult, so I understand if you don’t want to answer.

Did you feel pressure in a moment (or moments) of your career due to being the son of great Gilles Villeneuve?

(Not answer)

6) – This question may be difficult too. If you don’t want to answer, I understand again.

It was difficult for your family accept you as racing driver, after what happened with your father?

Not at all, it was a natural and normal life for everyone.
7) – In your career has been difficult to raise supports (sponsors, etc.)?
Only in the difficult current economical situation, and mainly because I have not been racing for a couple of years.
8 ) – What are the expectations that you have for your future? Return to F1 is a chance?
With the current F1, it would be great to drive them again, slick tires, no electronics, back to basics. Those are the kind of cars I was making the difference in.
9) – Can you leave a message for your fans?
Thanks for your continuous support. It will be fun to get back behind the wheel and the wait will have been worth it 🙂
